Robert Heft designed the American Flag which was used as a placeholder logo when Wikipedia started. Later,  a logo for Nupedia by Bjørn Smestad was used. The text in the logo was taken from Euclid and his Modern Rivals by Lewis Carroll. Following an international contest by Wikipedia, a logo designed by The Cunctator came into use. The text in this logo was taken from Thomas Hobbes’s Leviathan. The latest logo of Wikipedia is inspired by the puzzle ball.

The first picture is the symbol of Partido Comunista de España (Communist Party of Spain) to which Gaspar Llamazares belongs to.  El Mundo is a Spanish daily.

El Mundo was the first to reveal the usage of Gaspar’s photograph by FBI for recreating Bin Laden’s face.

The third photograph shows Yemen and Djibouti where Osama’s step brother Tarek Bin Laden has proposed to build a bridge – Bridge of the Horns.
